Counter-Notice Procedure
If you believe that your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notice. This process allows the alleged infringer to dispute the takedown. If a valid counter-notice is received, the content will be restored unless the copyright owner files a lawsuit within 10-14 business days.
How to Submit a Counter-Notice
To submit a counter-notice, please include the following information:
- Your contact information, including your name, email address, and telephone number.
- A description of the content that was removed and the location of the content before it was removed.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the content was removed by mistake or misidentification.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for the district in which you reside (or for the district where MB is located).
